So I am addicted to making these beanies now. Fo this one I used Red Heart Soft in Plummy or Prune. And I don’t know if you can see this in the photo but for the last two rows of the band I did an alternating FP and BP DC stitch.
I only used a little less than 1 skein which is 4 oz. Like I think I have enough of this skein to maybe add a flower to this beanie…if I could figure out how to do 3D flowers.
I have four more skeins of this yarn left.
I haven’t forgot about this page, but finding my fellow brown crafters is harder than expected :(. So if you will, please submit your work or work of others. I would appreciate that a lot! :)

I just finished this beret for the lady who does my twists. The spaces in between the clusters are big so it’s reall good and lightweight for the summer time. It’s also really stretchy which was the point. She wanted it big enough to cover her dreads in and she wanted rainbow color.
I was hesitant about using Red Heart yarn because it’s not the softest, but it is really durable and the texture of this pattern is really nice so it balances.
I used Red Heart Super Saver (5 0z) in Mexicana and used about 2/3 of the skein. I’m going to make another for myself.
